At Mandiri Break you’ll find modern, air-conditioned accommodation and pumping waves, right outside your door!

Located just south of Krui, Lampung, in the middle of South Sumatra’s Surf Coast, Mandiri Beach is renowned for the consistency of its surf, yet remains uncrowded.

The resort is privately owned and run by Azra, an Australian ex-pat who also doubles as the chef. Offering a choice of dormitory-style bunk beds or double rooms, all feature their own bathroom, wifi, toiletries and 24/7 security.

Facilities include a common room with a pool table & TV, plus a sunset deck area where you can enjoy a cold beer (there is stabilised power and commercial refrigeration too – so the beer stays real cold!) and watch the amazing sunsets.

Mandiri break offers a range of different accommodation options to suit all travelers! With awesome PODs in a dorm style room for those on a budget and triple, twin or double rooms for those wanting their own space. All rooms have a ensuite, air conditioning and are meters from the beach!

The Surf

Widely regarded as being one of the most consistent beach breaks in South Sumatra, Mandiri Beach sits a short trip south from the fishing village of Krui in Lampung.

If you’re looking for great waves with the minimum of hassle, the main break of Mandiri is located right out front of the resort, with peaks a few hundred metres either side.

And if you’re looking for something more, there is a wide range breaks on offer in the area, both beach and reef, suiting beginner, intermediate & expert levels.

The water is 28 degrees, or thereabouts year round, so don’t bring your 5/4!
