This resort was formally known as Lohifushi or Lohi's has had a complete refurbishment and upgraded to 4 star standard luxury beach villa resort.
The Resortwas transformed to a modernized luxury island. The refurbishment included 137 guest rooms (beach villas) and they added 26 new water bungalows for who want things a little more special.
The resort is perfect for families, couples, honeymooners, or anyone who wants a surf trip with style. Ideal for those that like a surf trip without having to do the surf camp thing.

Located in the North Male atoll approximately 30 minutes boat ride from Male airport. The resort is a 4 star multi facility island paradise with sandy beaches, crystal clear pristine lagoons surrounded by coral reefs teeming with colourful tropical fish and more importantly it hosts a perfect left-hander which wraps around the south east corner.

There are two types of accommodation at Hudhuranfushi for you to experience.
Beach Villas
The Beach Villas fringe the island, and depicts modern contemporary designs featuring modern day amenities. All Beach Villa’s have thatched roofs, timber front deck, TV, Mini bar, bathtub and outdoor open air shower. They also have interconnecting villas perfect for that growing family.
Ocean Villas
Perfect for honeymooners or couples who want to spoil themselves! These 40 breathtaking Ocean Villas are overwater, and come complete with a personal butler. Each of the Ocean Villas have a deck with stairs leading into the ocean, a large four poster bed, TV, DVD player and large bathroom with views to the ocean. You will feel pampered with a shared golf buggy a phone call away, separate reception area, free internet access and free bicycle hire all exclusive to Ocean Villa guests.
Your accommodation also includes: Breakfast, lunch and dinner daily, Soft drinks, tea and coffee, beer by the glass from 10am to midnight, house wine with lunch and dinner, Morning snacks, evening cakes and mid night snack......But wait there's more, you also get free access to one of the best waves in the Maldives.

| Surfing |
Surfers have known of this place for many years for it's great atmosphere, great surf breaks, clear reef water for diving and snorkelling and fishing.
Not only do you have access to the quality left-hander within paddling distance, but also use of the resort boats for transfers to the outer reefs, e.g. Cokes, Chickens, Sultans etc.
Hudhuranfushi Resort is the best resort in the North Male Atoll for surfing - 7 surfing breaks within 20 minutes travel by dhoni boat.
Surfing Breaks : Lohis (within a short walk and paddling distance), Ninjas, Sultans, Honkies, Jailbreak, Cokes & Chickens

Surf Spots & Seasons: The Maldives experiences a similar surf season to Indonesia. The best waves from March to October, with the bigger swells more likely in June/July/August. A great variety of reef breaks ranging from quite mellow smashable walls to hollow spitting barrels. There's a wave that suits everyone
During these months the conditions are normally off-shore all day and the surf generally ranges in size from 3-7 feet. Here's just a few of these awesome waves
"Lohis" a long wackable left-hander that breaks off the Resort – very consistent wave and a lot of fun.
"Jailbreaks" is a classic right-hander winds down the line (300 mts +) with 3 sections including a bit of barrel action.
"Honky's" a fast left at 4-6ft
"Sultans" An easy right-hand take off which leads you to an intense wrapping section at the end. Breaks 3-8ft. This wave is the most protected from the southerly winds in the North Male atoll and collect the most swell – so if it's small head to Sultans.
"Ninjas" which breaks off Kani Resort. A mellower right-hander which tends to suit the average surfer.
"Cokes" this right breaks 3-8ft and is protected from the south winds that may affect breaks like “Lohis”. If you want hollow tubes this is your wave
"Chickens" is the fastest left wave in the North Male atoll. This wave breaks to to 400 Mts + works on most swell sizes 3 - 8+ Feet
