Our Legendary Mikumba surf charter boats , five of them in all, ply these Mentawai islands daily where the best waves are found. From the south of the Mentawai Islands moving northwards all the way to Acheh (North Sumatra), our boats are now part of the sea traffic that call these and other sea ports home. Our experienced crew will pamper you, get you the waves you only dream about, and our cooks will spoil you.

The high surf season begins in April and lasts till November. From December to march, waves regularly range from two to four feet, but occasionally, when the ocean plates shift, or cyclones are active in the Indian Ocean, waves can jack up to more than ten feet. Surf charter operation is all year round as the low season does appeal to those that want waves not so challenging.

Regulars and repeat guests book way in advance. In order to avoid disappointment, its best to book early.
